U.S. Neighbour Rate

Tuition fees applied to your student account are based on your status in Canada.  This status is entered and maintained by staff in the Registrar's Office.  If you feel that your status is not properly reflected, please contact the Registrar's Office to discuss your situation. 

U.S. Neighbour Rate

As a good neighbour gesture across the border, the University of Windsor offers American students a tuition fee of $6,125 USD per semester (subject to change annually) - a savings of up to $5,000 per semester compared to the international student rates.

In order to qualify for the U.S. Neighbour fee, a student must:

  • be admitted to the University of Windsor after September 2013
  • be registered part time or full time in an undergrad program
  • be a U.S. citizen
  • provide a valid study permit to the International Student Centre at the beginning of their first semester and provide renewed permits as soon as they are granted. 

Students taking part-time courses will pay $1,225USD per course.

Incidental fees, residence and meal plan charges are not included in the above and are charged in Canadian dollars.
