Convocation marks the end of one journey and the beginning of another

The Odette School of Business equips students with the knowledge, skills, and character needed to succeed in a business career. Newly-installed Chancellor, Mary Jo Haddad, conferred the parchments to approximately 450 graduate and undergraduate business students as The Odette School of Business, University of Windsor celebrated its One hundred and eleventh Convocation at the St. Denis Centre. Supporters shared the pride of the graduating students as their names were called and they crossed the stage.

Graduating with Great Distinction, Honours Business Administration and Economics graduate, Ian Stecher, is the 2019 Board of Governor’s Medal recipient and the Governor General’s Silver Medal recipient.

The Odette School of Business is pleased to congratulate Stecher, on being the recipient of the Board of Governor’s Medal for students in-course 2019. This honour is awarded annually to the undergraduate student in each Faculty with the highest cumulative average of all non-graduating students at the end of the preceding academic year.  

Stetcher also received the Governor General’s Silver Medal, awarded to the student who has achieved the highest GPA among his/her graduating cohort.
